FAAST – Individual Counselling
South Coastal Health & Community Services “Family Abuse Advocacy Support Team” (FAAST) provide counselling for women and children (from age 6 upwards) experiencing or at risk of experiencing family and domestic violence. Clients can self-refer to this program.
Our team can offer counselling to women and their children who have been affected by family and partner violence. These situations can be very distressing and result in trauma β this is where we can support you on your journey to recovery.
We offer individual counselling or group programs, depending on needs.

Surviving to Thriving Group
Our “Surviving to Thriving” group is a 8 week program designed to support women who have experienced family and domestic violence. The program supports women to understanding what family and domestic violence is, learn how to break the cycle, improve self-esteem, and heal from the associated trauma.

Onwards and Upward Group
For children, the “Onwards and Upward” group is specially developed to cater to the needs of children from grades 3 β 6 who have been exposed to stressful family environments. The group runs in school terms over 8 weeks.
